We started Berkshire Guitars out of the garage of Roni Berkshire’s North Augusta home in 2007.
AJ brought real-world industry knowledge into the business from the start. Before even graduating from high school, he held an apprenticeship under Master Luthier Jack Pimentel, then later, a position in the setup department at the Fender Guitars production facility in Tacoma, Washington.
Roni, a 20-year Air Force veteran and HR professional, lent her own expertise in management and client relations to the startup venture. Mikki joined the crew in 2020 to improve the customer experience even further.
